Conway Children’s Photography – Sweet Baby Ava

“From the moment your were born, I knew what love was really about, I loved you more than anything, Beyond the shadow of a doubt!”

I can relate to the above, and I know mom Jodi and dad Dietrich feel the same, their hearts bursting with pride and happiness, from their bundle of joy – Ava!

Yesterday I had a great time taking Baby Ava’s 12 month portraits. She has the brightest blue eyes I have ever seen and the sweetest personality! She was such a joy to be around and spend time with. She brought along some of her FAV toys too, a cute white teddy bear and a tiny little USC bear.

Ava did an awesome job during all the picture taking, she put up no fuss and was all smiles and laughs. We took one bottle break during the 2 hour session but hey, it is hard work being a model!

Say Hello to Baby Ava.

Conway Children’s Photography – Sweet Baby Rylee

A wonderful Saturday evening spent with beautiful baby Rylee. We met at the Riverwalk in Conway. The evening was pleasant, maybe a tad on the warm side, but the late afternoon color and scenery were amazing as was Rylee! It really wouldn’t have mattered where we shot, as Rylee was so darn cute! Her mom had the cutest outfits for Rylee, I loved the blue dress with the R on it!
It’s amazing how time flies when you’re having fun, Rylee stayed true like a trooper though, nearly 2 hours long! She didn’t seem to mind having her pictures made, and toward the end of our shoot, she actually started to dance, she was having a blast as much as I was!

I had a lot of fun during our photo shoot and hope Rylee and family enjoy the sneak peek!

Sweet Baby Rylee!

A few notes, updates, memos, and blah blah blah…

Just a few things I would like to share since my last post. ;)

I am having a special this month and during July for portrait sessions. With every booked session you will get an extra 10% off every print order, and also receive a SECOND free 8×10 print of your choice from your photography session! Spots are filling fast and the weather is getting hotter, be sure to book early!

I’m also very grateful for my clients, for giving me their trust, to provide beautiful, timeless photographs that will be here for many years to come. I love making awesome photos for the most awesome people! I LOVE my clients!! They are the greatest!

In some other news, I had a pretty good week at my part time job, except for the fact I made a boo boo on one case, I used the wrong material and had to start over! I hold myself to a higher standard and re-makes don’t make the grade! I was sooo upset at myself!

What’s a BLOG post without some pictures you say? Okay…I hear you loud and clear! :D

Here are a few of photos from some of Gail’s Calla Lilies. These things are sooo beautiful and they get pretty big too! well at least the leaves do.

Princess also known as Peaches, was out and about, but she preferred not to have her photo taken this day.
She ignored me the whole time I was out with the camera, as soon as the camera was put away, she was VERY playful and wanted much attention!

My youngest son Eric, had a birthday party a couple of weeks ago. He is a sprite young man of 14 now! He thinks he knows everything! :)
We had a great time at his party, plenty of hot dogs and drinks for an army! One of his presents was a LG enV 2 cell phone! He has been asking for one for the last longest. He can now text till his thumbs are sore! Go get’em tiger!

Here he is with the cake ( a darned good tasting cake I might add) just before the candles were snuffed out. I think he was expecting a bigger cake though!

Oh yeah! Chasity…I’m getting excited about your wedding next weekend! You are going to look beautiful and the wedding will be awesome! I can’t wait!

Conway Children’s Photography – Maddie Grace

Meeting Maddie Grace…

On Saturday afternoon, Gail and I had a great time with Maddie and her parents during Maddie’s portrait session. As you will see from the photos below, she is such a sweet and energetic little lady! From the bow in her hair to her toes squishing in the sand, she was so adorable!

For a 2 year old, she was super duper awesome when it came to posing and having her pictures taken! She loved the ocean and wanted to see the “fishes” and shells and seagulls and all the sand castles that were made on the shore.

She really liked playing chase with the tide as the water came rolling in and drifting back out, it was fun watching her run from the water!

I also had a great workout trying to keep up with her! You can’t beat that, getting a great workout and making beautiful photos at the same time. Who says exercise isn’t fun!

I had a great time Maddie, I’m looking forward to your next portrait session!

Conway Family Photos – Woo Hoo Congrats Jay!

I have been meaning to post this since Saturday, I know, I’m slack!

Anywho, Jay, my oldest son who is a Junior in high school, went to a district FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) competition Saturday, in Sumter, SC.

He was one of about 300 students competing in various categories. His chosen group was Technology Concepts. Guess what? He came in first place!!

I’m really proud of him and what he has achieved so far this year.
His next stop, will be a all expense paid trip to the the state competition.

Against his protest, I’m posting a photo of his trophy, he said he felt like he was “flaunting it”, I say flaunt what you have achieved, be proud of your accomplishments!

Congrats Jay! May you have many!

Conway Family Photos – A family tradition

Last night was my mother-in-laws birthday party. Every year we go to this great little seafood house and have some awesome food and the most mouth watering seafood around.
Eric discovered last year, that he LOVED roasted Oysters! and he couldn’t wait to get some this year.
We had a great time with family and friends, and filled our bellies to the max!

Here is Eric waiting with anticipation.
