Conway Engagement Photography | Brandy and Joe! Sneak Peak…

Saturday 7:00 PM Engagement pictures with Brandy and Joe. They look absolutely smashing, the weather was HOT and humid, the air was still, you could see the love they have for each other. I was just starting to make their photos and disaster strikes, the unthinkable happened, and as I realized what had happened, my mouth became dry and my heart sank to a new low. The mirror inside my camera had fallen lose! I could not believe what had just happened, 13 shots into what was to be a super evening and the mirror falls out!! Yes, the mirror falls out! Out of all the variables that today could have dealt, it dealt a show stopper. I had no choice but to re-schedule the engagement session for a later time as soon as I get the camera back from repair.

All in all though, it was not a TOTAL loss, out of the 13 frames, I managed to grab these awesome pictures. Think of it as a precursor of things to come – a sneak peak of sorts. I can’t wait for the new engagement session date to get here!

I’m also very excited to be photographing their wedding in September and I’ll also be making Brandy’s bridal portraits next week. Sorry Joe, you will have to wait to see those!

Brandy and Joe, I’m very sorry and embarrassed for the problem I had yesterday, we will simply rock the photos even more on the next go.

Conway Wedding Photographer | Wedding Resources

Hi everyone!

Just wanted to let you know I added a new page to my weblog. It’s called Wedding Resources. Which can be found under the Information menu up top.

This is where I will be adding a list of wedding service providers to help brides plan their wedding day.

Planning a wedding can really be stressful for a bride, and anything I can do to help lessen that, I will.

The list hasn’t grown to it’s full potential yet, but it is on it’s way!

If you know of someone that provides wedding day services for brides or you’re a provider yourself, email me some details to see about being added to the list.

Even if I’m not your wedding photographer (and yeah, that’s okay too), anything I can do to help brides on their day is an honor. Brides have enough to deal with and maybe this list will help in some way.

Columbia Wedding Photography | Amanda + Billy

It was a rather warm and humid day with threatening rain clouds off in the distance. But Amanda took it all in stride and let nothing seem to worry her. Their wedding had been scheduled over the next two days, the ceremony on Friday and the reception on Saturday. I thought that was a very neat way to celebrate your wedding without all the hustle and bustle of trying to do everything in one day!

The ceremony took place at Amanda’s hometown church in Lancaster, SC, where family and a few friends had gathered for the exchange of vows. Amanda & Billy share a love that runs deep and wide and it shows! I’m so glad that I got to be a part of their day! After the vows were said, the rings exchanged, and the love in their eyes and on their face telling all, the wedding then moved to Columbia, SC, where the next day would hold THE party! But before the party, Billy’s mom hosted a wonderful dinner Friday night at Diannes on Devine, in honor of Amanda and Billy. The menu was awesome and the atmosphere was excellent! A great way to relax with friends and family sharing many toasts!

The reception was held in the Atrium at the South Carolina State Museum in Columbia. What a great way to have a party with friends and family! The food was super delicious, the music rocked, and the bar was fabulous, not to mention a unique place to have a party! A great evening among guests, spending time with one another was just super fab!

Amanda and Billy’s honeymoon will be on a train ride through the Canadian Rocky Mountains! What a great way to begin their life together as husband and wife!
I wish you all the best Amanda and Billy, have a wonderful honeymoon and I’ll talk to you when you get back.

Columbia Bridal Photography – Amanda!

Amanda & Billy had their wedding this weekend in Lancaster and THE party was in Columbia, (I will be posting that soon), so now…I can finally post Amanda’s Bridal photos!

Both Amanda & Billy graduated college at the University Of South Carolina in Columbia, SC, it was only fitting to have Amanda’s bridal portraits made on and around the campus of USC! We started the day at the “Horseshoe” a historic part of USC campus and a beautiful location for portraits!

As Amanda & Billy are also huge fans of USC sports, Amanda wanted to have some of her portraits at the various sports venues of USC…so we did! :)

Without further ado, it is my pleasure to present to you, a fun, energetic, lively, and most beautiful Amanda!

Myrtle Beach Engagement Photography – Tom + Chasity

Today Gail and I had the pleasure of shooting Chasity’s and Tom’s engagement photos. This past August, I shot Chasity’s senior photos, and when Tom proposed to her she called and wanted me to make her engagement photos and also for her upcoming wedding! I was honored for that, and gladly set the date for the E-Session.

Tom just recently graduated from the Marine Corps Basic Training at Parris Island with the 2nd Battalion Hotel Company.
Chasity has a great guy and I thank him for protecting my freedoms that we all seem to forget to easily. Thank You Tom!

Chasity and Tom are such a beautiful couple! They made the photography part so much easier and were a blast to work with!

We started the day at an awesome place in Myrtle Beach called “The Market Commons”. A beautiful local with many scenes to take advantage of.
