Conway Senior Lifestyle Photography – Katelyn!

It was Saturday morning, the sun was shinning on what would be a perfect day. I had great time with Katelyn while we captured some awesome images!

Katelyn has accomplished quite a bit this school year, she will have graduated twice in one year! One from Horry County Early College High School and one from Conway High School. Something tells me Katelyn is just as smart as she is beautiful. I know she will do great in whatever she does!

Gail and I wish you much success Katelyn, and a WELL deserved CONGRATULATIONS on your scholastic achievements!

Conway Contemporary Senior Photography | Jay’s Graduation items!

Today, Jay (my oldest son), his Cap and Gown along with all his invitations came in today! I’m so happy!!!!!!

It doesn’t seem like it has been 12 years since he started school and here he is graduating next month!
He will be graduating from Carolina Forest High School this June 3rd. I’m very proud of him and all that he has accomplished these last 4 years of school!
Carolina Forest High School is his “base” school, he has attended class at the Academy for Technology and Academics (ATA) for his junior and senior year.

I will be updating the blog with posts, as we follow his last month of high school and the party that will follow that weekend!! :D

Conway Family Portraits | Facebook Photo Session Giveaway Winner

Hi everyone!

Yesterday I held my first ever Facebook photo session giveaway! Had a lot of entries and some good competition! :D

The drawing was held yesterday at 5pm, and I want to congratulate Facebook user Lennie Halstead for being the lucky winner!

Lennie won a 1 hour outdoor portrait session in Conway, SC that will also include a CD of all processed and enhanced images with printing and personal use rights!

I can’t wait to get the time and place setup so we can make some amazing pictures for her!

Conway Family Portraits | Free portrait session giveaway!

Free portrait session giveaway!

On my Facebook page located HERE, I am having a free portrait session giveaway that will be given to one of my fans!

I’m giving away a free 1 hour outdoor portrait session (limited to 4 people max) including the free CD of images from the portrait session to a fan of James Morton Photography!

The portrait session will be held here in Conway, SC.

All you have to do to be in the drawing for the giveaway is, suggest James Morton Photography fan page to all your friends, using the “Suggest to Friends” link under my fan page profile photo. Pretty easy huh! Then just wait until we reach 650 fans!

The giveaway will only be available until we reach 650 fans. After that, I will pick a fan at random to be the winner.

Conway Senior Portrait Photography – Brittany!

What a beautiful day to capture some amazing photos of an awesome senior! I would like you to meet Brittany!
The late afternoon/evening color, set in place by the setting summer sun was just plain inspiring! The temperature was warm…not hot, the slight breeze blowing in from the south made it very pleasant, and Brittany’s eyes and smiles just lit the place up!

Brittany is a “G.R.I.T.S” girl! You might be asking what is G.R.I.T.S.? Well, it stands for Girls Raised In The South! How cool is that! She loves the outdoors, loves the country, loves the long summer days, and livin’ down on the farm!

We had a great time making photos for her senior year. We started the session off with Yellow, Brittany’s horse, he was a little skittish at first, but he soon calmed down and we captured some great photos!

Conway Senior Portrait Photography – Good luck Jay!

I wanted to make a quick post wishing Jay, my son, the best of luck at the state competition in Charleston, SC this weekend.
He will be attending the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) state finals.
He is competing in the Technology Concepts category.

Last month he won the district competition and now moves on to state. When he wins this one (hint hint) he will then move on to California for the nationals!
Good luck Jay! Your mom and I are SOOO proud of you!

P.S. Don’t get to distracted partying it up in your new duds! ;)

Conway Family Photos – Woo Hoo Congrats Jay!

I have been meaning to post this since Saturday, I know, I’m slack!

Anywho, Jay, my oldest son who is a Junior in high school, went to a district FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) competition Saturday, in Sumter, SC.

He was one of about 300 students competing in various categories. His chosen group was Technology Concepts. Guess what? He came in first place!!

I’m really proud of him and what he has achieved so far this year.
His next stop, will be a all expense paid trip to the the state competition.

Against his protest, I’m posting a photo of his trophy, he said he felt like he was “flaunting it”, I say flaunt what you have achieved, be proud of your accomplishments!
